This policy fully covers the legal costs of defending a claim made against you providing the lawyers were instructed by the underwriters.

It's no secret that lawyers are expensive, and therefore defense costs can be high. There is great comfort therefore in having substantial coverage to ensure there's enough to meet the expected cost of a claim and the legal representation to go with it.
