Automatic and immediate issue

We are very pleased to have been able to negotiate with the insurers in order to bring you this fully automatic issuing of an insurance policy where no signature or paper work is required, up front, in order to have the policy issued.

This does not absolve the applicant from truthful disclosure at all. It just means that the signed declaration that is normally made at inception is not required until there is a claim. It just makes life easier.

The main purpose of the signature on an application form for insurance is to establish that you understand the terms and conditions and to have you, the applicant, confirm by declaration that the information you have provided, and upon which the insurance is granted, is true.

In the event of a claim that declaration would be required. But for the time being, no paperwork need change hands.
